Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the logistics and produce industry, focusing on expanding our customer base.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with potential customers, understanding their transportation needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, such as operations and customer service, to ensure seamless onboarding and successful execution of customer contracts.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of market dynamics.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential customers, highlighting the unique value proposition of JT Wash Logistics.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with customers, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, customer profiles, and activity reports using CRM software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven track record in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the logistics or produce industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with customers.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • A passion for sales, with a customer-centric approach and a drive to exceed targets.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and CRM software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of logistics and produce industry dynamics, including market trends, regulations, and customer requirements, is highly advantageous.
